Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi – Awakening in the Eternal City
Your sacred journey begins in Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and the spiritual heartbeat of India. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and assisted with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, take time to relax and acclimatize to the unique rhythm of this ancient city, where devotion flows as naturally as the River Ganges itself.
As evening approaches, proceed towards the ghats to witness the iconic Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. As priests perform the ceremonial offering with synchronized movements, glowing lamps, rhythmic chants, ringing bells, and sacred incense, the entire riverfront transforms into a divine spectacle. Hundreds of floating diyas illuminate the Ganges, creating an atmosphere of deep reverence and spiritual surrender. This profound experience marks a powerful and unforgettable beginning to your pilgrimage.

Day 2: Sacred Ghats, Timeless Temples & Sarnath – The Soul of Varanasi
Begin your day before sunrise with a serene boat ride on the River Ganges, one of the most spiritually enriching experiences in India. As the soft morning light touches the ancient ghats, witness devotees offering prayers, performing rituals, and taking holy dips believed to cleanse the soul. Ascetics meditate in silence while temple bells echo in the distance, offering a glimpse into Varanasi’s eternal spiritual rhythm.
After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive temple tour, visiting Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Continue to Annapurna Temple, Vishalakshi Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and Tridev Temple, each holding deep mythological and devotional significance.
Later in the day, travel to Sarnath, the sacred site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Explore the Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, ancient monastery ruins, and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum, which houses invaluable Buddhist relics and sculptures. Return to Varanasi in the evening, enriched by a day steeped in history, devotion, and wisdom.

Day 3: Varanasi to Bodh Gaya – Journey towards Enlightenment
After breakfast, depart from Varanasi for Bodh Gaya, travelling through picturesque rural landscapes that reflect the simplicity and spiritual depth of India’s heartland. The journey itself offers moments of quiet reflection as you move from the land of Shiva to the land of Buddha.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed to visit the revered Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site marking the exact spot where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment and became the Buddha. The sacred Bodhi Tree, believed to be a descendant of the original tree, stands as a living symbol of wisdom and awakening. Monks from around the world chant prayers, creating a deeply meditative atmosphere that invites silence and contemplation.

Day 4: Bodh Gaya – A Day of Inner Stillness and Reflection
This day is intentionally kept unhurried, allowing you to absorb the serene spiritual energy of Bodh Gaya at your own pace. Begin your morning with meditation or prayer at the Mahabodhi Temple complex, where the calm environment encourages mindfulness and introspection.
Visit the international monasteries built by Buddhist nations such as Thailand, Japan, Bhutan, Tibet, and Sri Lanka, each showcasing distinct architectural styles and spiritual traditions. Spend time walking through peaceful gardens, listening to the rhythmic chants of monks, or simply sitting in silence beneath the Bodhi Tree. This day offers a rare opportunity to slow down, reflect, and connect deeply with yourself and the teachings of Lord Buddha.

Day 5: Bodh Gaya – Gaya – Prayagraj | Sacred Ancestral Traditions
After breakfast, proceed to Gaya, one of Hinduism’s most significant pilgrimage centers, especially for ancestral rites. Visit the sacred Vishnupad Temple, believed to bear the footprint of Lord Vishnu, and the banks of the Phalgu River, where pilgrims perform pind daan rituals for the peace and liberation of their ancestors’ souls.
Following this deeply meaningful experience, continue your journey to Prayagraj, formerly known as Allahabad. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, visit the holy Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers. As the sun sets over the flowing waters, the atmosphere becomes charged with devotion, making it one of the most spiritually powerful moments of the journey.
Overnight stay in Prayagraj.

Day 6: Prayagraj – Where Faith Meets History
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Prayagraj, a city that beautifully blends spirituality with India’s modern history. Visit Anand Bhawan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family, now preserved as a museum chronicling India’s freedom movement and political legacy.
Later, proceed to the ancient Hanuman Temple, known for its reclining idol and strong spiritual following. The rest of the day may be spent strolling along the riverbanks, exploring local markets, or simply reflecting on the spiritual experiences gathered so far.

Day 7: Prayagraj to Ayodhya – Walking the Path of the Ramayana
After breakfast, depart for Ayodhya, one of the seven most sacred cities (Sapta Puri) in Hinduism. This holy town resonates with stories from the Ramayana and centuries of unwavering devotion.
Visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the revered birthplace of Lord Rama, followed by Hanuman Garhi, a prominent hilltop temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and Nageshwarnath Temple, associated with the son of Lord Rama.
